- Sara Akbar is a well known figure in the industry both in Kuwait and internationally.
- Sara is a chemical engineer with over 25 years of experience in upstream operations, having worked in several challenging positions in Kuwait Oil Company and in KUFPEC.
- She worked with KUFPEC (Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co.) as Manager – New Business Development from Dec 1999 – July 2005
- She worked with Kuwait Oil Company from 1981 –1999 in various capacities
- Research & Development Specialist (Kuwait Project)
- Head of Planning Studies Team – Planning Group
- Team Leader North Kuwait Advisory
- Head of Resources Management Team – Planning Group
- Her strengths are in strategy development, portfolio management and strategic relationships.
