• Chairman & Managing Director of Tharwa Petroleum Company.
• Petroleum Geology Advisor to the Ministry of Oil & Gas of the sultanate of Oman for 11 years in all activities pertaining to Concession Agreements, Exploration & Exploitation for Oil & Gas.
• Vice-Chairman for Exploration and Production and Board Member-Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company.
• Vice President for Exploration & New Ventures- Trident Petroleum Company.
• Consultant and representative of Premier Oil (UK) in Egypt.
• Assistant Vice-Chairman for Agreements & Exploration – Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
• Exploration General Manager and Board Member – Agiba Petroleum Company (JV between EGPC & Agip).
• Chairman of the Egyptian Petroleum Exploration Society during 2006-2007.
• BSc degree in Geology and Chemistry from Ain Shams University – Egypt.
